MY AIM
Finding clarity beneath the surface to better understand yourself
Diagnosis
As a registered psychologist, I am trained to assess and formally diagnose most psychological conditions. At the end of these assessments, I will provide a diagnosis if your symptoms meet criteria for one.
If required, you will receive a brief letter or a more comprehensive report summarizing the results and recommendations.
Please note that we do not provide assessments for legal, insurance, or custody-related purposes, such as medico-legal evaluations, court reports, or disability claims.
ADHD
-
An ADHD assessment offers a comprehensive evaluation to understand attention, focus, and executive functioning challenges. This process is helpful if you're wondering whether ADHD may be part of your experience and are looking for clarity and informed recommendations for support.
By the end of the process, you'll have a clearer picture of whether ADHD is present (or if another condition may better explain your symptoms), and what kinds of tools, supports, or treatments may help moving forward.
We do not provideLegal, cognitive, learning disability or Autism Spectrum assessments.
Vocational assessments or independent medical examinations (IMEs).
Work-related disability evaluations.

1) A comprehensive clinical interview (3-4 hours) that explores your developmental, mental health, medical, academic, and occupational history, as well as current symptoms. Ideally, I also speak with someone who knows you well (a collateral source). These interviews can be completed in one extended session or split into shorter appointments. You’ll also be asked to complete questionnaires to provide additional context.
2) Report Preparation (2-3 hours): A detailed written report is prepared summarizing the assessment findings, including diagnostic impressions (if applicable) and personalized recommendations.
3) Feedback Session (1 hour): We’ll meet to review the results, discuss next steps, and answer any questions you may have. Preliminary impressions are also shared at the end of the interview phase, so you’ll leave that session with some immediate insights.

I charge $240 per hour, consistent with BC Psychological Association guidelines. Your fee covers all time spent on the assessment, including sessions and, if requested, the preparation of a written report.
A full ADHD assessment generally costs approximately $1,680, depending on the complexity of the case and the time required. If you choose not to receive a written report, the total fee may be lower, as report writing typically requires additional time. I’m happy to tailor the process to best suit your needs and goals.
Psychodiagnostic
-
Psychodiagnostic assessments can provide clarity about your current psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other difficulties. These assessments are often helpful in clarifying diagnoses, identifying patterns of functioning, and informing evidence-based treatment plans. They can be completed on their own or alongside ongoing therapy.
An assessment is helpful if you're seeking:
A clearer understanding of your symptoms or diagnosis.
Guidance for future treatment planning.
Documentation to support care from other providers (e.g., your family physician or psychiatrist).
-
The process typically involves 2-3 Zoom sessions (50 minutes each), which can be scheduled separately or combined into a longer appointment. We will review your mental and physical health history, any family history of mental health concerns, and your current symptoms or difficulties. You will also be asked to complete a number of standardized self-report questionnaires.
Following the assessment, we will meet for a feedback session to discuss diagnostic impressions and recommendations. If needed, we can prepare a brief letter or a more comprehensive report summarizing the results and recommendations, which may be useful for sharing with other healthcare providers or for personal records.

My rate for psychodiagnostic assessments is $240 per hour, in line with BC Psychological Association recommendations. Fees include all session time and any report-writing, if required.
A typical 2-3 hour psychodiagnostic assessment is around $480-$720, if a report is not required. With a report and feedback session, the cost increases to $1200-$11680. This is dependent on individual needs and complexity of your issues.
